Angel investment in Indian continues to see a lot of traction, with an increasing interest from large, successful entrepreneurs and existing institutional investors to invest in exciting business ideas that will create tomorrow’s large businesses.

After the successful first edition, we have again come back with our exciting VCCircle India Angel Summit 2011, to be held on December 1, 2011, at Holiday Inn, Mumbai. Our aim is to create a unique platform for early-stage entrepreneurs, angel investors and various seed-stage investing groups to come together, network and do deals.

Our panel titled The Rise Of Angel Investments In India will evaluate whether this is a good time for entrepreneurs, given the rapid rise in the number of Indian angels. A lively and thought-provoking discussion will take place as Rajesh Sawhney (president, Reliance Entertainment), Rehan Yar Khan (founder, Flora2000 Inc), Ranjan Kapur (country manager, WPP Group) and Anand Jhaveri (founder & CEO, Rave Technologies) take part.

Rajan Anandan, MD & country head at Google India, will share his thoughts on the emerging entrepreneurship opportunities that a tech investor would love to invest in, as Sahad P.V., founder & editor of VCCircle interviews him.

Entrepreneurs are set to gain some great insights as Sanjay Kamlani, co-founder & CEO at Pangea3, shares his experience on how to scale a company and achieve a successful exit; Mukund Mohan, founder of Jivity, tells you how to prepare a company for fundraising; K Ganesh, founder & chairman at TutorVista.com highlights how to grow an idea into a successful business and Sadeesh Raghavan, former Managing Partner at Accenture’s Asia business, discusses how to develop efficient operations for a company.

We have also brought in a special panel for those ready to go through the paces after raising angel funding – namely, gun for venture capital. Our panel, focused on how to raise early-stage VC funding, includes Rahul Khanna – managing director of Canaan India; Prashanth Prakash, Partner at Accel Partners and Mahesh Murthy – founder, Seedfund. Undoubtedly, these industry stalwarts will help companies prepare well, so that they may raise a wholly different round of institutional funding.
