Inshorts' Public App, Smallcase highlight of VC funding this week

Public App, a location-based social network startup launched by English news aggregator Inshorts last year, received a significant cheque from Lee Fixels's new fund among other investors to lead the venture funding chart this week. This was followed by a Series B funding round raised by fintech firm Smallcase.
