Corporate Finance Associates Ups India Presence

Corporate Finance Associates (CFA), a middle-market investment banking services firm in North America, has strengthened its presence in India. 

CFA India has roped in Girish Narasimhan, formerly executive director at IndiaCo Ventures Ltd, as managing director leading the team in India. 

The company, which started its India operation through CFA India, has also opened two new offices in Maharashtra, one in Mumbai and the other in Pune, said a company statement.

CFA India will provide financial advisory services for business valuations, capital sourcing, and corporate restructuring to its customers. It will also assist national and international strategic and financial buyers in acquisitions of privately-held companies. 

“Setting up of new offices is a step forward in the globalization of the firm – enabling us to expand our presence to Asia and provide superior advice and execution for our clients in the region,” Peter Heydenrych, chairman and CEO of CFA said in the statement. CFA eyes a good growth prospect in India as it is one of the fastest growing economies in the world, added the company. 

CFA offers services in arranging private debt or equity financing for businesses with a full range of capital sources, including private equity funds, corporations, venture capitalists, finance companies, banks and other lenders or specialized funds. CFA India works across all industries, with a focused attention to the manufacturing, technology and business services sectors.

Globally, CFA has presence with over 25 offices in the US, three each in Canada and India and 11 partner offices throughout Europe.
